Cebu Pacific returns to profitability in 1H2009 on strong passenger and revenue growth

Cebu Pacific reported a net profit of USD38 million in 1H2009, a turnaround from a net loss of USD325,000 in the previous corresponding period, as revenues increased 21% to USD236 million in the period, slightly ahead of its predicted growth of 20%. [1035 words]
