Copenhagen Airport's shares surge, Ferrovial bounces back, Fraport continue to rise, MAp falls back

Shares in European airports continued to rise yesterday, while shares in Asia Pacific airports fell back. Copenhagen Airport led the increase, surging 5.5%, as the airport reported (only) single digit traffic declines last month. Ferrovial, parent of BAA, bounced back, gaining 3.7%, while Fraport rose higher to 3.1%.

In the Asia Pacific region, Chinese airport shares led the decline yesterday, with Xiamen, Shenzhen, Beijing and Guangzhou airports falling 3.0%, 2.8%, 2.6% and 2.2%, respectively. Macquarie Airports’ shares lost ground yesterday (-1.7%), as the latest traffic results show Sydney Airport is trailing behind other Australian airports. Australian Infrastructure Fund's shares rose 2.6% yesterday.
