British-based LCC, easyJet, is maintaining its expansionist strategy, despite reporting a near-double net loss in the six months to 31-Mar-2009. The carrier has announced plans to introduce four new destinations as well as increase selected frequencies at London Gatwick and on the Copenhagen-Berlin sector during the Northern Summer travel period commencing Jul-2009.
