First Chinese private airline enters bankruptcy, but Spring and Juneyao show success is possible

East Star Airlines was officially declared bankrupt in late Aug-2009, becoming the first Chinese carrier to enter bankruptcy, after a restructuring application was rejected by the Intermediate People's Court in Wuhan. [1687 words]
