Flughafen Zurich in European Premier League for traffic growth and EBITDA margin in 2008

In what it describes as a ‘challenging economic environment’ Unique (Flughafen Zürich AG) achieved a net profit of CHF121.3 million in 2008 compared with CHF130.7 million the previous year, a reduction of 7.2%. With 6.6% more passengers, total revenue rose by 6.5% to CHF855.1 million. The higher passenger figure also belies AdP’s claim that it was the only major European operator to see growth in 2008 (see separate article). [1047 words]
