
Flybe explores acquisition opportunities during economic downturn

Flybe confirmed it would continue to explore acquisition opportunities as part of its growth strategy, aiming to take advantage of the “predicted spate of bankruptcies” it expects will take place during the current economic downturn. A Flybe spokesperson stated, “Flybe is acquisitive and there will be more deals. We can definitely see the fleet growing (by acquisition).” [685 words]
