It was a mixed day for global LCC stocks on Friday as oil prices dropped USD1.70 in New York to close the week at USD73.78 – over USD2 above the start of week price of USD71.51.
SpiceJet fell ahead of the weekend agreement by US investor Wilbur Ross to sell his stake to Kalanithi Maran, CEO of Sun TV Network.
AirTran and Vueling gained 2.7%, while Virgin Blue, Tiger Airways and AirAsia were steady.
