People’s Capital and Leasing Corp announced it will expand into the aircraft leasing and financing segment, providing support for large and mid-size owners and operators of business aircraft — including business jets, turboprops and helicopters. The company has appointed Bob Sommers and Jim Pulie to head the unit.
Elsewhere in the leasing sector, shares were up for AerCap (+2.1%) and Aerocentury (+0.9%). Shares were down in FlyLeasing (-2.2%) and down 1.8% in both Aircastle and Willis Lease Financing.
