
Qatar Airways invests USD1.2 billion in Doha Airport ahead of move to NDIA in 2011

Qatar Airways announced plans to invest up to USD1.2 billion in new facilities at Doha International Airport, despite plans to shift to the forthcoming New Doha International Airport (NDIA) in 2011. The expansion is required to meet the national carrier’s aggressive fleet and network expansion plans in 2010 and to cope with strong traffic resultant growth. [1695 words]
