Qatar resilient to downturn, but aircraft delays having an effect

Qatar Airways is displaying no lack of confidence coming into 2009. The carrier expects to add an array of new destinations in 2009, declaring itself to be “resilient to what’s happening in the markets”. It has forecast passenger growth of 30-35% during the year, with passenger traffic expected to reach approximately 16 million.
