Record Mar-2011 pax for Air China but first international passenger declines since Jun-2009

Air China's domestic passenger traffic showed steady growth in Mar-2011, but there was some softness on international routes, reflecting the impact of Japan's triple crisis last month. Overall passenger numbers increased 4.7% year-on-year to 3.9 million and have risen 23.7% on Mar-2009 levels and 37.4% over Mar-2007. [714 words]
