
Spanish Government deregulating air traffic control services

Spain's Government approved a reform to deregulate the provision of air traffic control services and stated those services can be provided by private firms in competition with AENA. The approval incorporates into legislation the European Union's Single European Sky initiative and also establishes the specific procedure that air traffic control providers must follow to obtain certification to operate in Spain.
