
TAV continues offshore expansion drive - zeroes in on Riga Airport

Turkey's TAV Airport Holding announced it has pre-qualified for a tender to expand and operate Riga International Airport in a joint venture deal. TAV submitted the tender with a partner, SKONTO BŪVE. It is the second piece of positive news for TAV in a week, following the revelation that the Macedonian Government has awarded it a 20-year contract to operate two international airports at Skopje and Ohrid, as well as the construction of a greenfield cargo airport, to be located near the eastern town of Stip.
