Zurich Airport to divest most of its shareholding in Bangalore Airport

After a turbulent eight years since its selection as operator and co-investor in the greenfield new Bangalore International Airport, Zurich Airport has announced plans to reduce its stake in Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) from 17% to just 5%. The stake will be sold to either an existing shareholder or new strategic partner, with the aim of forging a development partnership. [1066 words]
