09-Jul-2012 Swedavia is extending and expanding its collaboration with The Nuance Group, which operates shops at most of Swedavia's airports. As part of this effort, a new tax-free concept is being implemented which involves an increased offering and a better shopping experience for passengers. The agreement with The Nuance Group is being extended until 2018.

Swedavia is investing in giving passengers an enhanced shopping experience and is extending its partnership agreement with The Nuance Group, which operates and develops shops in airport environments. Over the next twelve months, ten tax-free and other shops at Swedavia's airports will get a new look and an upgraded offering. A new tax-free concept specially adapted to the Scandinavian market has been developed by The Nuance Group.

"The investment in shops is part of creating inspiring airports with a commercial offering designed for our passengers. The shopping experience at our airports is being enhanced, a project that involves 3,000 square metres of shopping space. To start, we are launching a brand-new walk-through tax-free shop in the international terminal at Göteborg Landvetter Airport. Major improvements are also being planned at Stockholm Arlanda Airport in Terminals 2, 4 and 5," says Michael Persson Gripkow, chief commercial and marketing officer at Swedavia.

The extended agreement means that The Nuance Group will operate and develop shops at the following Swedavia airports: Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Göteborg Landvetter Airport, Malmö Airport, Bromma Stockholm Airport, Visby Airport, Umeå Airport, Luleå Airport and Åre Östersund Airport.

The agreement with The Nuance Group is being extending until 2018.
