American Airlines, Inc. hereby applies for renewal of its exemption, granted by Notice of Action Taken in this docket on October 30, 2007, authorizing scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between Chicago, Illinois and Moscow, Russia. The referenced NOAT also allocated six weekly combination frequencies, and a subsequent NOAT on May 23, 2008 allocated one. Those awards do not have an expiration date.

American instituted nonstop service between Chicago and Moscow on June 2, 2008 using B777 aircraft. The exemption should be renewed for at least two years.
