Application for Renewal of Exemption

Antair S.A. de C.V. hereby applies for renewal of its exemption from 49 U.S.C. 40301 which authorizes Antair to engage in charter foreign air transportation of persons and their accompanying baggage between the United States and Mexico with small aircraft and, subject to prior Department approval, between other countries and the United States. Antair also requests continuation of its stopover privileges and renewal of relief from any requirement to obtain advance approval for each Mexico-US flight. The Department granted the above authority to Antair by Notice of Action Taken dated July 31, 2007 The effective dates of authority granted extended from September 25, 2007 through September 25, 2009. Antair requests that this authority, which is scheduled to expire on September 25, 2009 be renewed for a period of two years, or alternatively for at least one year.
