Falling traffic in Amsterdam. Is Schiphol suffering from too much airline consolidation?

With airports across Europe reporting falling passenger traffic and cargo volume in double digits (and even worse in the US), Amsterdam's 12-month result of -0.8% pax (to 47.4 million) and -1.4% cargo does not appear too bad. But is this the beginning of something worse for Schiphol and is this the flipside of being a 'junior partner' in consolidation? [1245 words]
