Airports Authority of India: Domestic passenger growth leads Indian traffic recovery

Airports Authority of India (AAI) reports passenger numbers across India increased 22.4% year-on-year in Sep-2009. Domestic passenger traffic jumped 28.9% higher, to 6.7 million passengers. This is the fourth consecutive monthly increase, following 12 consecutive monthly declines between Jun-2008 and May-2009. [1627 words]
