Dubai Duty Free to extend lead at the top of the global duty free rankings

Dubai Duty Free is likely to have maintained its position at the forefront of worldwide duty-free retailers by revenue in 2009, a position the company first attained in 2008. This conclusion is based upon Dubai International Airport’s solid increase in passenger numbers last year, compared to traffic growth at other airports worldwide, and DDF’s ability to convert traffic into retail sales.
