Kingfisher Airlines first quarter revenue up 21%, narrowing net loss
Kingfisher Airlines budgeted that FY2010/11 (ending 31-Mar-2011) will be profitable following the return to positive EBITDAR in the 12 months ended 31-Mar-2010. So far its assessment is on track, with the carrier maintaining profitability at the EBITDAR level in the three months ended 30-Jun-2010, its first fiscal quarter. Kingfisher also returned overall EBITDA to a profit in the quarter and reduced net losses by about USD10 million. [1578 words]
