BA cabin crew industrial action from 24-May-2010

Direct News Source

21-May-2010 British Airways has today published contingency plans for Unite's strike period of May 24-29.

We have formulated contingency plans to protect our operations as much as possible.

We are able to confirm that our longhaul and shorthaul freighter programmes will be unaffected, as will all services in and out of London Gatwick.

We plan to operate 50 per cent of shorthaul operation and more than 60 per cent of our longhaul operation during the first strike period (May 24-29). We will add to the initial schedule where possible.

The airline is still available to hold further talks but wants customers to have an early indication of the planned flying schedule.

For further details please contact your local British Airways World Cargo representative.

We would like to thank you for your continued support during this period.
