FedEx Express is only cargo company to apply for newly available frequencies between US and Cuba

FedEx Express managing director, regulatory affairs Nancy Sparks speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (11-Apr-2016) the company is the only cargo company to apply for newly available frequencies between the US and Cuba. She highlighted the company's "modest proposal" of a single daily service between Miami and Havana. "As a matter of law" she said Cuba is not a tourist market.
