NewLeaf Travel to resume services on 25-Jul-2016, opens reservations on 23-Jun-2016

NewLeaf Travel Company resumed (23-Jun-2016) sales with "ultra low fares and an expanded route map" on 23-Jun-2016, with the first services to launch on 25-Jul-2016. The carrier plans to operate to 12 Canadian cities: Halifax, Moncton, Hamilton, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Kelowna, Kamloops, Fort St John, Abbotsford and Victoria. Flights booked through NewLeaf will be operated by Flair Airlines. NewLeaf and Flair plan to offer "base fares that are significantly less than other Canadian carriers", achiveing this by operating from airports with lower landing fees, flying a point-to-point network, and offering "à la carte purchase of options." The carrier plans the following network:

  • Saskatoon-Hamilton: Twice weekly service;
  • Saskatoon-Kelowna: Twice weekly service;
  • Victoria-Kamloops: Twice weekly service;
  • Victoria-Winnipeg: Twice weekly service;
  • Hamilton-Winnipeg: Three times weekly service;
  • Hamilton-Edmonton: Twice weekly service;
  • Hamilton-Moncton: Twice weekly service;
  • Hamilton-Halifax: Twice weekly service;
  • Hamilton-Kelowna: Five times weekly service.
