About

Established in 2009 as a charter airline serving the oil and gas industry, Afric Aviation commenced scheduled domestic services in 2010 from their hub at Port Gentil International Airport, Gabon. Afric Aviation operated international services to neighbouring São Tomé and Príncipe.

The carrier suspended operations in May-2017, citing financial issues and economic conditions. Afric Aviation plans to increase capital with new investors, recertify the airline and introduce new aircraft. It is expected to take the carrier approximately six months to complete the programme.
