GIC Special Investments
GIC Special Investments (GIC SI) was established in 1982 as a private equity investment arm of Singapore sovereign wealth fund, GIC. In May-2006, a consortium, led by Ferrovial and comprising GIC SI and Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, successfully acquired the UK-listed BAA in a private transaction.
