Shares in Irish aircraft leasing company AerCap rose 4% in trading on Friday, the strongest single day gain for the stock since the end of Feb-2011. Other leasing companies did not have similar momentum. Aircastle shares were up 1.7% and FLY Leasing and Air Partner shares also gained ground.
Shares in Willis Lease slipped 0.4%, while Avation Plc shares dipped 1.8%.
