
Airport Authority of Hong Kong welcomes support for midfield terminal development

In mid Oct-2009, Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) and Cathay Pacific welcomed support by Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, for Hong Kong International Airport's (HKIA) midfield development plans. The midfield expansion project is designed to maximise the use of the two existing runways at HKIA, to meet air traffic demand up to 2020.
