Airport shares mixed. AIX and MAp gain

9th June, 2010

Worldwide airport shares were mixed yesterday, led higher by Australian Infrastructure Fund (+3.0%).

Auckland Airport fell 2.1%, while MAp gained 1.4% and Infratil eased 0.6%. See related report: Where next for Infratil?

China’s Shenzhen Airport gained 0.5% as it reported its traffic highlights for May-2010:

  1. Passenger numbers: 2.1 million, +11.7% year-on-year;
  2. Cargo volume: 68,200 tonnes, +45.6%;
  3. Aircraft movements: 18,000, +9.4%.
