
Airservices Australia freezes charges to 2011

After more than 12 months of consultation with customers, during which the general economic climate and aviation markets have both changed dramatically, Airservices Australia announced in Aug-2008 that it would freeze charges for air traffic control and airside services until mid-2011. The move will come as a relief to Australian airlines, but will eat further into already shrinking revenues for the Australian air navigation services provider. [691 words]
