Fraport piggy-backed on a 2.1% rise on the Frankfurt Dax 30 Index to rise 5.8% yesterday. Other European airport-related stocks were higher yesterday, including Zurich (+4.5%), Hochtief (+4.2%), Ferrovial (+3.3%), Copenhagen (+2.6%) and Aeroports de Paris (+2.2%).
Chinese airport shares fell back yesterday in line with the broader index falls in Shanghai (-2.9%) and Hong Kong (-2.7%), including Beijing Airport (-0.6%), Shanghai Airport (-2.3%), Xiamen (-3.4%) and Hainan Meilan (-4.5%).
