IAA reports a “year of two halves”

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA), the Irish Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP), reported slow growth in both revenue and aircraft movements for the full year ended 31-Dec-08, in what it described as "very difficult conditions" and a "year of two halves". While 1H08 saw growth in aircraft movements across all traffic categories by Jun/Jul-2009 traffic had begun to drop well under 2007 levels and has remained firmly in negative territory since.
