Latin American airports: investment into the region at record levels; greater fiscal stability

There has been a considerable amount of airport privatisation activity already in Latin America, with Mexico and Argentina leading the way in the 1990s and with lease/concession being a popular method. Now it seems as if Brazil is heading towards a final decision on whether or not to privatise Infraero while in other parts of the continent there are less ambitious schemes. [2011 words]
