
New Air Navigation centre inaugurated in Abu Dhabi

UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced the official opening of USD81.7 million Shaikh Zayed Air Navigation Centre in Abu Dhabi on 14-Nov-2009. The centre, which has been operating since Jun-2009, is aimed at giving the UAE the capacity to continue its rapid growth and increase ATM efficiency in the country, delivering shorter routes and minimising delays.
