Nigerian Airspace Management Agency: Radar implementation project to finally take off in May-2009

Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) is scheduled to open the first phase of its USD108.5 million Total Radar Coverage of Nigeria project (TRACON) by the end of May-2009. Phase I of the project covers a 150 mile radius of airspace surrounding Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport and Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. [692 words]
