Ryanair reported a new monthly record in passenger traffic in Jul-2010, with passenger numbers increased 13% in the month to 7.5 million, exceeding the previous record of 6.8 million in Aug-2009. Load factors decreased 1 ppt to 88% in the month.
In the 12 months to Jul-2010, the carrier has transported 70.1 million passengers, for a new 12-month record, with an average load factor of 82%.
Elsewhere, Dart Group (-5.3%) was the largest decliner of the day, while easyJet’s share price decline continued for a second consecutive session, slipping 2.8% following the previous day’ 1.5% reduction.
