
Saudi Arabia to develop three airport cities

Despite a recommendation that the Saudi Arabian Government should continue to focus on upgrading its airports, the country’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has come out in favour of plans to develop ‘airport cities’ at three main international airports. GACA’s decision is indicative of new thinking in the Kingdom towards privatisation. [1518 words]
