SESAR Joint Undertaking gets formal go ahead

The Single European Sky Air Traffic Management Research (SESAR) Joint Undertaking (SJU), Europe’s public-private partnership for ATM research, was formally inaugurated on 08-Dec-08. Fifteen major companies have been selected to join the SESAR programme. Included in the undertaking are major aerospace manufacturers and technology providers, European Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and a consortium expected to be made up of six large European airports.
