TAP expects privatisation could be accelerated under new Portuguese government

TAP Portugal expects the new Portuguese government to quickly move forward with privatisation of the flag carrier and potentially complete a sale to a strategic or institutional investor by the end of this year. TAP’s management team hopes, under the new ownership structure, the carrier will be able to continue pursuing its successful strategy of connecting Europe with Africa and Brazil. [1182 words]
