easyJet announces the launch of route Madrid-Bilbao for Monday 30-Jan-2012

27-Jan-2012 In response to passengers expressed concerns for their travel in reaction to Spanair possibly suspending all its operations from midnight on 27 January 2012, easyJet announces it is ready to offer its assistance to worried passengers or potentially stranded passengers on the Madrid-Bilbao route by bringing forward the launch of its flight from 19 February to start operating on Monday 30 January 2012 with a special rescue fee of €501.

easyJet rescue fare will be available to any Spanair passenger2 due to travel on the Bilbao-Madrid route for the next seven days on flights operating from 28 January 2012 until Friday 3 February 2012 inclusive.

To claim the exclusive €50 rescue package, passengers will have to call easyJet customer service at 902 599 900 (or 0044 870 6 000 000 if calling from outside of Spain). Bookings will be accessible from 27 January 2012 through the call centre and on easyJet website from 18:00 on 30 January 2012.

Passengers will have to provide the agent with their Spanair2 ticket or booking reference number and present their Spanair2 booking confirmation at check as further proof of booking.
