ELFAA member airlines jump to the rescue following collapse of Spanair

28-Jan-2012 Following the news that Catalan airline Spanair has officially ceased its operations, ELFAA member airlines have jumped to the rescue of passengers stranded from home, as a result of the suspension of Spanair's operations.

ELFAA airlines that have overlapping routes with Spanair are offering specially discounted fares to enable stranded passengers to return home for a small fee.

John Hanlon, Secretary General of ELFAA said:
"ELFAA airlines have once again acted swiftly to assist passengers who may have difficulty securing alternative arrangements."
