HKA & HKE welcome the Air Services Arrangement between Hong Kong and Taiwan
30-Dec-2011 Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express welcome the Air Services Arrangement between Hong Kong and Taiwan signed in Hong Kong today (December 30, 2011). We look forward to the future development of the aviation market in the light of this new Arrangement, which facilitates further development of air services between Hong Kong and Taiwan creating more destinations and more choices for passengers. We will take this opportunity to expand our routes and operate more flights to different destinations in Taiwan.
As the aviation industry plays an important role in Hong Kong's economy, we believe the new Arrangement is crucial to Hong Kong's international competitiveness and long-term economic prosperity and caters for the continued strong and fast-growing demand of the tourism and freight industries between Hong Kong and Taiwan. Furthermore, the increased trade and travel activities will enhance cultural exchanges between the two places and signify a new milestone in the development of Hong Kong-Taiwan relations.
