Ryanair Opens Its Manchester Base (No 45)

03-Nov-2011 Ryanair, the world's favourite airline, today (3rd Nov) officially opened its 45th base at Manchester, where it is initially basing two aircraft (growing to 4 aircraft by summer 2012), operating 17 routes (growing to 26 in summer 2012) which will deliver up to 2m passengers p.a. and 2,000 jobs as Ryanair invests over $280 million at Manchester Airport.

Ryanair's 26 Manchester routes in summer 2012 (listed below) are now on sale at www.ryanair.com . Ryanair celebrated the opening of its Manchester base today by releasing 500,000 seats from £9.99 for travel in late Nov/ early Dec which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (10th Nov).

In Manchester today Ryanair's Michael O'Leary said:
