Transaero Airlines signed an agreement with Boeing Commercial Airplanes for four Boeing 787
27-Dec-2011 Transaero will operate the jetliner in three class layout with 4 seats in Imperial class, 14 in Business and 244 in Economy with total capacity of 262 passengers.
"We have a deep expertise in operating different types of Boeing aircraft as our cooperation started in 1993 when Transaero became the first airline in Russia to fly with Boeing aircraft. Following our innovation approach we've made state-of-the-art highly-efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliner an aircraft of our choice to replace currently operated Boeing 767 aircraft. Boeing 787s will perform fights on both Transaero's domestic and international routes", said Transaero Airlines General Director Olga Pleshakova.
Transaero has already made its first advance payment under the agreement.
