Notice of Action Taken
Scheduled foreign air transportation of persons, property, and mail between: (1) Los Angeles, California, and Cancun, Mexico; (2) Los Angeles, California, and San Jose del Cabo, Mexico; and (3) San Francisco, California, and Cancun, Mexico. US Airways states that it will provide this service on a code-share basis, beginning August 17, 2009.
US Airways advises that it will provide these services pursuant to a code-share arrangement with United Air Lines. In this regard, we note that United currently provides year-round service in the Los Angeles-Cancun and Los Angeles-San Jose del Cabo markets, and seasonal service in the San Francisco-Cancun market (see Dockets OST-2005-22360, OST-2008-0056, and OST-2004-17685, respectively).
