
Acciona and FCC interested in Madrid Barajas and Barcelona El Prat privatisations: reports

Acciona and Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas SA (FCC) reportedly plan to bid for Madrid Barajas and Barcelona El Prat airports in the Spanish Government's EUR5.3 billion privatisation sale (Reuters/Cinco Dias/Bloomberg/Expansion/Today Online, 03/05-Sep-2011). Acciona would reportedly bid with Fraport to tender for the airports. FCC may reportedly enter the pre-qualification round in partnership with Siemens and Changi Airport Group. Ferrovial also reportedly plans to bid with one of its partnerships in BAA. Abertis is also reportedly interested in the sales.
