AirAsia Japan unable to confirm launch date

AirAsia Japan said it is unable to confirm its launch date after admitting it will miss its target launch in summer 2016, marking the third delay for its re-entry into the Japanese market. As reported by Travel Vision, zipanguflyer and Traicy on 12-May-2016, the start-up took delivery of its second A320 aircraft on 27-Apr-2016 and has completed recruitment of ground-handling staff in Sapporo Chitose and Sendai. The carrier reportedly lacks the adequate number of pilots, maintenance personnel, and operations control staff required by Japan Civil Aviation Bureau.
