Delivery of the first Russian SuperJet 100 aircraft will be postponed until the first half of 2010, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) President Alexei Fyodorov told reporters Tuesday at the MAKS air show.

The first two SuperJet 100 planes were supposed to be delivered to Aeroflot Russian Airlines and Armenian airline Armavia in late 2009, according to earlier reports.

UAC controls aircraft maker Sukhoi, which is developing the SuperJet 100 aircraft.
