ELFAA airlines rescue Sky Europe passengers

01-Sep-2009 Following the news that Sky Europe has filed for bankruptcy, ELFAA member airlines have sprung into action to offer an emergency rescue package to those passengers who find themselves stranded as a result of the suspension of Sky Europe’s operations.

ELFAA airlines that have overlapping routes with Sky Europe will be offering specially reduced fares to enable passengers who booked with Sky Europe to return home cheaply and quickly. They will be transported back to their original point of departure or the nearest airport served by the ELFAA airline concerned. John Hanlon, Secretary General of ELFAA said: "This is another clear example of ELFAA airlines coming to the assistance of
passengers who have been left high and dry as a result of another airline's financial failure."
