06-Nov-2009 We are disappointed the union is taking this action. We have not walked away from the negotiating table and remain committed to continuing to negotiate in good faith, resolving issues and finalising the EBA.
The union's current pay claim of more than 30 per cent over three years is unreasonable. Should there be industrial action, we have contingency plans in place and do not expect there to be any disruption to our operations or our customers' travel plans. Safety will remain a priority and will not be compromised in any way.
